Hi, I’m Olga Ledis.
I’m a graphic designer, illustrator, and visual artist working at the intersection of art, technology, and storytelling. I hold an MFA in Graphic Design from Moscow State University of Printing Arts and a BA in Environmental Design, and I’m studying Digital Media Design at Harvard Extension School. My practice moves between watercolor, clay, and paper and tools like Adobe Illustrator, Figma, and Framer.

What I do
I design brand identities, illustration, print, and web experiences: a brand portal and social templates for Hologic, identity work for Abbott, Shinglas, and Liberty Mutual’s Inclusion in Action, and exhibition graphics for Jaguar Land Rover. I build visual systems that stay clear and consistent as a brand grows.
Exploring the Intersection of Art and Computer Science
Where does the line between fake and real exist?
Lately, I’ve been fascinated by the evolving relationship between computer science and art. What is computer-generated creativity? The concept of machines “dreaming” or “hallucinating” through vast datasets raises compelling questions about perception, authorship, and the invisible life of data. At the same time, I find myself drawn to the fine line between real and artificial — a theme I continue to explore in my own work.
Teaching Design
Typography, composition, and animation
From 2007 to 2015 I taught at Moscow design schools — the National Institute of Design, Moscow State University of Printing Arts, and the Moscow Art-Industrial Institute — leading courses in typography, composition, the history of graphic design, and the fundamentals of animation. I’ve also spoken at the Scientific Designers’ Forum in Moscow about how methods move between visual art and graphic design.
A Love for the Tactile and the Hand Drawn
Art practice
My creative roots are deeply connected to the tactile world. Alongside design, I work in ceramics and drawing and run workshops for children, teens, and families. My work has been shown at the Moscow Museum of Modern Art, the Shanguyan Art Museum in Beijing, the 6th Moscow Biennale, and Cittadellarte – Fondazione Pistoletto in Italy. I was a finalist for the Kandinsky Prize and have held residencies at AGA LAB in Amsterdam and Save the Harbor/Save the Bay in Boston.
